Shell32.dll replacement problems

After using my bitmaps and icons, I used replacer to replace shell32.dll. When I rebooted my machine and got a image error, where the last line said "please check this against the original copy". Does anyone know this error and what can be done about this? John

windows file protection. thats the first thing that came to mind.

now, whether or not that has something to do with your problem.. i've no idea
