It's a waste of download. If you have a Vista DVD you'll have the same repair options.

Here is a more detail look and you can see it looks awfully familiar

Recover disc in pictures

It looks like the original because it IS the original. The purpose this gem is primarily for folks who are running OEM Vista installations, which do NOT contain the ability to run the Recovery Module because the OEM didn't include it on the supplied disk or recovery partition. It's also a Must-Have item for anyone who repairs computers for a living. Read through the original Neosmart link in its entirety to better understand its purpose before condemning a perfectly decent post.

I use both the 32 and 64 bit versions quite a lot. It's easier than trying to trick and OEM Vista system into giving up the option to perform Startup Repair. All it is is a bootable disk with the necessary Startup Repair files on it (sorta like the XP Recovery Console disks you can get).

It used to be a straight download, but they've switched it to a torrent.

Well, apparently it is.

This link http://www.msfn.org/board/Ultimate-DOS-Gam...sk-t120777.html contains a download for a DOS boot disc that includes MSFT files, which I'm pretty sure permission to distribute wasn't given.

The same rules should apply to everyone and not those that you wish to pick and choose from.

Dude don't be a moron...

If it is or has warez report it. Then one of the staff will look into it. IF it has been found to have warez it will then be removed.

The staff tries very hard but cannat track each and every link\program that floats through here. Use the report button.

The way you are doing it is asking for a warning for being openly a$$-ish...

Actually, you can download/make a DOS boot disk if you own the overlying OS (is that a word? :)), which appears to be Win98. It's how bootdisk.com gets around these sorts of things, as there's no real EULA on boot disks.
