I've got an nlited windows xp sp3 v3244 with tweaks and components removed.

now installing and using these software they install fine drivers install as well but

when i connect my phones via usb cable (cannot connect any other way aka bluetooth/IR)

the phones cannot be detected by the software nor windows xp (doesn't show new hardware pop up thing nor in device manager)

so i'm guessing a something required was removed when i nlited.

does nayone have any idea what it could be?

If you do not get the "new hardware" pop-up, there are 2 things to do: first check that the cable, phone interface and usb port are ok using a standard/full winxp install on a secondary partition to be able to switch back. Second, try again, this time keeping everything that is related to communications/LAN/modems/internet.

Could never get the usb cable to connect to my phone, RAZR V3. Had to use bluetooth. There are many complains on the Phone Tools forum about the problem.

Year ago I did some searching. I found a manual that showed two items in the phone's connection menu. Bluetooth and cable.

With my AT&T (Cingular) I only see Bluetooth !! I finally gave up trying to use the cable connection.
