Lost Soul Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 hi im toying with a project of mine and i want to flip the screen on a monitor to vertical, using windows xp pro, is this possible with an ati card ? or only intel based cards..,, if it cant be done with a ati,, any suggestions on what type of card i could use to get this desired effect ? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Idontwantspam Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 (edited) Most graphics cards are capable of this if you have the latest drivers installed. Look around in the video driver's settings. I know where they are in the Intel ones, and I've seen it before in Nvidia ones. I don't have much experience with ATI cards, but I imagine they'd have it too. Windows can't do it on its own though; you need to use the driver utility.Keep in mind if these are LCD displays: cleartype doesn't always work in positions other than the normal upright position.
