xeross Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 Hey i have a machine with windows server 2003 standard r2, now i want to disable wfp cus of unneeded Inetpub and wmpub directories but could only find guides for xp. 2k and so on.does anyone know how to disable it in server 2003? cluberti Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 If those directories exist, it's because you have IIS installed. WFP has nothing to do with those folders - remove IIS or disable the services, and the folders can be deleted. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cluberti Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 That's the only reason those directories are installed to C:\, so it was there at one point (and if you can't delete these, sounds like it still is installed).
