his problem is that he installs some codec pack or some other media player which changes file association.

even if i told him this in previous thread he doesnt seem to understand.

the problem not is codec or player, on one xp clean without codec or player, and the problem not is play is viewer in explorer

again the problem is not file association...

the problem is also not with explorer...

if u look at the file list where u can select which files you can open, there is no mp3, most likely a codec problem, because if wmp doesnt have mp3 codecs and doesnt know how to open it either so its not in the list..
