weEvil
Looks like the Alky project at Falling Leaf Systems is no more. The team has dis-banded. They have made their source code available under LGPL.http://www.fallingleafsystems.com/Here is the official letter on Google Groups:Cody Brocious It is with great sadness that I announce the closing of Falling LeafSystems, LLC. We set out over a year ago to provide users of both "oldand unsupported" as well as "alternative" Operating Systems theability to run the latest games for the PC. Unfortunately, FallingLeaf Systems was unable to achieve that goal. However, every ending tends to open another door for opportunity andthough we are saddened to announce our departure, we are almost asexcited to announce the immediate availability of ALL source code forthe Alky Project! It is licensed under the LGPL and includes both theorginal Alky Converter source used to convert the popular Prey Demo torun on OSX and Linux, as well as the alpha release of the AlkyCompatibility Libraries which attempted to provide a DirectX10compatible runtime for Windows XP. All of this is available athttp://www.fallingleafsystems.com/We have also created some new forums on the site for users to discussthe coming cycle of DirectX 10 based games. We hope that you'll pop inthere from time to time, and we also hope you join our mailing list toreceive an announcement in case some other Open Source project decidesto carry on the Alky banner. We appreciate all your past support; Happy gaming! Will someone continue this project?
