slipk487
pagefile.sys is a windows file that is always active so nod32 wont be able to access it if windows is running. as far as i know there is no real need to scan it but if you fell you must then you would either have to install another copy of windows and scan it from there or make a winpe and scan from that. here is a really great site to make a VistaPE from either the WAIK or vista source. you can select more if your using vista as a source but the WAIK works fine on its own. it has an option to include nod32 as an antivirus scanner. comes in real handy if anything ever happens to your system. caber
I never faced this kind of problem with any other antivirus I used, and I have Windows XP, so I dont think I can use VistaPE.Is there any option for NOD32 for boot time scan, so that pagefile wont be running? slipk487
VistaPE is just a live version of vista u can bood from a cd so deal with any problems incase of a system failure. as for a boot time scan i am not aware of a why to do a boot time scan. Tarun
Look for an option to exclude certain files.
