MFCK
Hi all !I've made a very vLited install (-extreme) and now i'm not able to register OEM SLIC (slmgr.vbs -ilc "oem.lic").I dont know if is due the winsxs removal. I must test again without winsxs removal ! Edit : OK, i'm wrong here, it's not due winsxs removal.maibe the culprit is "Network List Service" needed for SL UI Notification ??!! Legolash2o
removing it means you cannot get Windows Defender Definition Updates or whatever there called and it just bugs you that its out of date lol Edited December 28, 2007 by legolash2o
LeveL
Are you talking about removing the entire winsxs folder?Surely not? It has all the .NET Framework and C++ classes there!I am struggling to use vLite at the moment on Vista... keep getting a BSOD but its not because of vLite, its doing it on the old beta and the new 1.1RC which I know worked in the past, I am gonna do it all on XP in VMware, where theres a will theres a way. simba49
The main thing you need to know is that windows update will not function.
