Hello all,

Here it is: I was all excited one day to finaly go out and by my self my own laptop (instead of using one from work, friends, etc.). I have always had a really nice tower computer, but never owned my own laptop. So to get to the point I whent right down to my local Best Buy store and purchased the

Operating System:

Genuine Windows® Vista Home Premium

After my changes:

I upgraded to 2GB of ram, and I'm planning on switching out the hard drive to 7200, instead of the crappy 5400 speed.

Anyways...so it came with Vista, (which most computer that you buy are now coming with). Mine came with Home Premium. So I play around a bit

with it and decide I didn't like it, at least not for a laptop, with going to college and all, a lot of compatiblity problems. So I already had a copy of WIN XP PRO, and so I put that on. After installing and setting it up, I looked in the device manager (as most people do) to see if there are any issues. I have never seen so many yellow ! and ? in my life. I thought no big deal, I will just go to HP's website and download the drivers for them. They don't have crap.. they have a tone, and all the stuff for Vista, BUT NOT XP. What the hell...you'd think it would be the other way around. Where can I get the drivers I need for my HP dv6408nr laptop. Sound card, card reader, etc.
