maybe we should do a sort of a contest, of login screens

This is the boot screen I have been using. I found it on the net somewhere and cleaned it up a touch to not look like only 16 colors.

Here it is. It is not my work; I just cleaned it up. I could probably find the source if you really need it.

If you want the all black pallet versions, so that it doesn't flash on the screen, let me know. The black pallet ones are for when you hack ntoskrnl.

Also note that the progress bar position matches Vista.

What about real Vista boot?

sp3vistabootscreen-1.jpg

I know that somebody will say that it is bad, but the goal of Vistapack is to transform XP as closest as possible to Vista, right? So you may consider this damian. Link from WinCert Forum.

Also, you might add OOBE patching to your pack. There are few nice OOBE's at WinCert again, here is the link. I prefer this one:

You may ask authors for permission there, I'm sure that they will agree.

Cheers ;)

hi mara :D, thanx man, and yes you are right for the greatest part of it...

but a little freedom in the resource is needed man, because not all is found in vista.

but you have a point man.

i wont promise anything :D

OK, I hope that your next version is coming soon, since I want to use it on SP3 and you mentioned somewhere that few files are not patched.

Cheers ;)

there is a real bug in the 2000 version, it wont uninstall the files :(

i dont know how it got there, and i hope i can fix it for the people.

so untill further notice, the download for the 2000 version is down.
