Is Registry Cleaner really helpful?

i have been reinstalling winodws without knowing why.. untill i realise registry cleaner is the one that causing all my Error. i have always been using adaware spybot and tuneup also ccleaner.

this is the problem these registry cleaner affect window. Visual Basic Run Time Error. Games like Silkroad Automatically force close. and it seem really unstable..

Any registry cleaning utility can cause problems. Registry cleaning utilities should be used at your own risk. The registry is a very delicate thing. You should allways backup your registry before using any utility like this. I have seen some systems get pretty screwed up using registry cleaning utilities. I once saw a system that had all of it's extensions mixed up. EXE files would try to open with word, doc files trying to be open in photoshop, rar files trying to open in wordpad... it was a nightmare.
