benifin
Out of curiosity, is it possible that a fully Vlite'd Vista 32 system [maximum strip back] which has fully compliant Vista 32 hardware BUT that is running either a 4 or 8 meg PCI video card like a Diamond S3 Virge or Diamond 3DFX, would run / work ?Would such a system even install with such a small PCI Video card ?Ben
ajua
i cant be sure 100% but i don't think you can bypass minimum system requirements checks at setup with that video card.also, if you have vista ready hardware, why are you trying to use that card? curiosity? post if you try to see happened. Stead
It would work absoutley peachy and fine! After all, Aero is the only part of the vista gui that requires graphical horsepower...and if no ones convinced, here are the min requirements straight from ms!Windows Vista minimum supported system requirementsHome Basic / Home Premium / Business / Ultimate

800 MHz processor and 512 MB of system memory20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available spaceSupport for Super VGA graphicsCD-ROM driveNote a dvd is not required, and neither is a super duper processor! although vlite seems to take that 20gig harddrive and tear it up a bit so it can fit into a nice 8gig drive (its been done, and it takes frigging ages to load!)
