perhaps this was already covered in another thread ... if so, i was to stupid to find;-)

In directory i386 is a folder called svcpack, containing all the KB*-files I slipstreamed (at least, i do think so).

But what is the purpose of this folder? I thought the process of slipsteaming bugfixes the executables, so for what reasons exist the *.cat and *.exe - files in this folder? can i kill them to free more space?

You're disk woulnd't work if you deleted those file and even if you get past the installation you would constantly get WFP popups.

It is much better to start over again using nLite and choosing direct integration while disable SFC thus getting rid of the need for most of thaose files.
