odyssey5
I just got a SyncMaster 203B with a native resolution of 1400x1050. It's attached on my ThinkPad R61 laptop with VGA only (unfortunately DVI is not an option). The R61 has a nVidia Quadro 140M video adapter with a driver only available from Lenovo. It's NOT included in the default nVidia driverpackage!None of the resoloutions presented in the display settings matches 1400x1050 for the attached monitor, and all other resolutions naturally look like crap. I tried installing the monitor driver off the CD with no luck. Even replacing the famous resoluton-line in the driver inf file did the trick to me.HEEEELP! Addendum: Choosing Clone mode in the (still f**ked up) nVidia Configuration Panel, makes it magically choose the correct resolution - However I'd like to use the extended desktop mode.
