BigDaddy
Since the server doesn't have a keyboard or mouse or Monitor connected I connect to it using a WinXP workstation by this command:mstsc /v:server /consoleBut to my surprise this doesn't connect to the username which is already logged in localy on the server 'tom'. but creates a new session for user 'tom'. This works great on Win2k3. I have set Windows 2000 Server to Remote Administration mode. What else could it be?
BigDaddy
I read somewhere that this isn't possilbe at least till Win2k3. Is this true?
cluberti
You are correct - only 2003 server supports the /console switch.
BigDaddy
anyway to add this to 2000 server? Since 2003 would be to memory hungry for my current low memory machine
