cmmcnamara
Hi I'm new to nLite everyone and I have a question about the OOBE options. I would not like to remove OOBE in the components menu, however I'd like to skip it during installation. My question is: If I simply skip the OOBE will it cause the same problems as removing it will? Legolash2o
Im guessing that if you skip it that you will still be able to activate it after installation, if you remove it then you wont be able to activate windows.

wRonG1
Did my research not suggest one can still activate + register through the GUI after install of an unattended Windows with OOBE removed ? Through Programs . I believe Help is also still accessible though Service removed . Probably others .
psyche_romania
Under "Unattended" segment of nLite, on the menu "General" try to use "provide defaults" so forcing setup to show all pages during installation, if this does not solve your problem go to menu users and play a bit there with "none" and "Administrator"
XP_NO
@wRonG1,Can you tell a little more about your 'research' and the way you activate + register and the results with OOBE removed? Others are telling it is not possible so when you are telling the opposite, it is interesting to hear how you are doing that.
