tordenflesk
If you are game, I am pretty sure that if you post a request here: http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/157-install-windows-from-usb/ and be a diligent party in the testing some of the good guys would help you. Will do. BTW, there is at least one report that the "usual" method of Firadisk or Winvblock (of course the 64 bit version) do work for installing: http://reboot.pro/topic/9830-universal-hdd-image-files-for-xp-and-windows-7/page-36#entry163260As far as I could tell that was someone wanting to run it in a live enviroment. and Sardu is said to be compatible with XP64: http://reboot.pro/topic/14768-new-release-of-sardu-204-beta-16/Looks to me to like it copies YUMI's method, and fails in exactly the same manner(doesn't load the grub menu properly)
jaclaz
As far as I could tell that was someone wanting to run it in a live enviroment.Yes, BUT up to first line of #3 step it mentions installing an XP 64 bit to hard disk from .iso on USB stick alright.jaclaz

Kurt_Aust
It looks like Microsoft has silently updated both KB2836939 and KB2836941 (but not KB2836940). Unfortunately the KB articles don't say why these hotfixes were updated. Use the latest version (that is KB*-v2-x64), the torrent, config file and main post have been updated to reflect this change. Thanks for reporting. EDIT: Post 666 - cue demonic laughter Edited August 26, 2013 by Kurt_Aust

Kurt_Aust
KB2647170 (MS12-017) is Server specific KB972270 (MS10-001) has two files not included in KB982132 (MS10-076) While KB2813345 should supersede KB956744, Windows Update complains if it's not installed KB2562485 (MS11-058) is Server specific Windows XP Professional x64 edition IS Windows Server 2003 x64 edition BUT with the server specific components striped out. Hence occasionally updates for Server 2003 x64 won't apply to XP x64 as the components don't actually exist (very rarely this applies in reverse as well). If you are confused about where everything ends up, try downloading the screenshots, that should help to clarify things.
Ultraform
Hi kurt! Why is your 900-5er_IE8_Addon_2009-03_5_x64 different from 5eraph's Internet Explorer"5er_IE8_Addon_2009-03_5_x64.7z" Its not the same MD5 :/
Guest
I had to re-upload the file with a different MD5. When somebody was hotlinking my files, Mediafire decided that some of them needed to be blocked to prevent abuse. This was the easiest way to put them back up. Kurt_Aust
September updates With Nuhi updating the nLite application after several years hiatus some long standing bugs have been squashed, most notably IE8 can now be integrated and hotfixes with ASMS folders now are added correctly. This results in some hotfixes being moved around and switching to the official IE8 installer for the individual hotfixes approach rather than using 5eraph's vanilla addon. You can still use 5eraph's un-updated addon if you like, just don't use both it and the official IE8 installer. Also 5eraph's tweak file will NOT work with the official IE8 installer. Kurt_Aust
Ultraform, that list would seem to indicate that you've targeted the wrong files/folder with the WMP11 slipstreamer at step 2 and copied the downloaded files and folders to the wrong directory at step 9. Please double check that the root of your nLite working directory looks like the image in screenshot 09B (minus the Windows Update link).
Ultraform
hmmdid exactly as before, but now works media player 11 but not still the runonce :/http://imgur.com/hL3AOwhedit:my Last Session fileshttp://www.mediafire.com/download/r5kvl65h5qkczb7/xp64.rarIs there something i should do with the .bat files in the Misc folder? Kurt_Aust
The additional *.bat files in the Misc folder are mainly for maintaining the hotfix list, they can't be the cause of your problem. Does the RunOnce folder in your working directory have 52 files totalling 986,741,441 bytes? (assuming .Net 4) Maybe your DVD drive is slow to spin up, try increasing the GuiRunOnce TimeOut in the unattended settings from 40 to 60 seconds.
