Due to some hardware failure I had to change over to a server running Windows 2003 temporarily till the windows 2000 server could be repaired. After the repair was done. I had to migrate the files back to the Windows 2000 Server. The migration was completed successfully. The problem i am facing is that the files which were created in the windows 2003 server(which are now placed in the windows 2000 server) cannot be opened by the users. cyberpyr8 Posted September 26, 2007 Share Posted September 26, 2007 You may have to go in as admin and re-take ownership of the files. The file owner SID does not exist on the 2000 server.
