Maleko Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Hey guys! long time no post!Im wanting to upgrade my Graphics card, but will i require more wattage?Current setup:Asus A8N SLi Premium BoardOpteron 175 CPU 10% overclock2GB Ballistixs RamX3 SATA Hard DrivesX2 Optical DrivesAudigy 2 Platium EX sound cardFloppy DriveGeForce 8600GTSX5 Cooling FansCold Cathode Light500WATT Modular PSUSo, Im wanting to get an XFX 8800GTS 320MB card to replace my 8600I hear 500 watt will work, 600 recomended.IF my current setup can support a 88gts without having to upgrade my PSU, bonus, but if i do HAVE to upgrade my PSU, then i will have to, just if i can save on not buying a new PSU, woudl be great, but i dotn wanna suffer from power loss.Cheers guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
