shauntr
Hi,I'm having problems with our image. It works correctly on a Dell 745 & GX270 (Optiplex). When I use the same image on a GX620 or GX280, Sysprep will freeze (on the please wait screen) just before it kicks into Windows mini setup. If I restart the system it will go through completely fine. Does anyone have a fix for this, it's really begining to bug me now! Thanks in advance.Shaun
geezery
I had the same problem and I have a solution for you. Actually M$ have. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883667Get that hotfix from http://thehotfixshare.net You have to make sysprep again with that hotfix installed. IcemanND
if you don't want to rebuild it to test you can extract the files from that patch and place them in your image, depending upon your image type depends on how you can replace them, then test it.Had the same issue and I was able to just update the newdev.dll file in the image and deploy it without any issues. yogger
I was running into the same issue with Dell hardware myself. You might also want to install this hotfix as well: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910678.
