I tried to install via RIS WinXP on a Motherboard with a Marvell Yukon

Gigabit ON Board Ethernet controller for the first time. I copied yk51x86.sys

and yk51x86.inf to the i386 Directory with the result

"The operating system image you selected does not contain

the necessary drivers for your network adapter."

The above statement happens in textsetup of RIS when pulling down a new image.

This took me a while to find out so i thought i would let every know.

Alot of people hav said but the drivers in the i386 directory which is correct

however you must add them to you intial windowxp directory created when you

first install RIS.

This would applied to any network driver not recognized during the initial setup.

Copy the *.inf and *.sys files to the WINDOWS\i386 directory (the directory with alot of compressed file

i.e *.dl_ and then restart RIS

net stop binlsrv

net start binsrv

now when in textsetup mode the network driver will be detected.
