Soothsayer
To have the numlock on when you boot, there are two methods.1.) From the login screen (if you auto login, just logout), make sure numlock is on, then select shutdown. Next restart XP should (may!) remember the setting - This does not always work.2.) Goto the registry (run regedit.exe) and update HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard\InitialKeyboardIndicators to 2, or copy and past the following into a text file, save with a .reg extension and double click to enter into registry. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard] "InitialKeyboardIndicators"="2"
thebigbluecan
I tried the registry one and it is already set to "2" . Ill try the logoff, make sure numlock is on then shutdown when I get home. Thanks.
