Can GP apply to a Security Group?

May I know can GP apply to a Security Group instead of every single users? So just move Security Group between OU instead of individual users one-by-one.

AFAIK, yes, but I'm not at work right now to verify the claim

In the OUs, only the individual users are affected by the GPs. However, in the security Filtering of each GP in Group Policy Management Console (the second window under Scope tab) you can put the security groups you want to have access to this policy.
