Doggie
Hi guys,I recently recieved my Vista 64bit upgrade dvd(Upgrading from 32 bit vista) and I found out I cant upgrade it and I need to backup files and settings. So I decided to use WET. Problem is , it sits at 12% while estimating the size of the files and never moves. Anyone know why? Not exactly 'easy'

djnes
This probably isn't the answer you're looking for, but I've always found it easier to just back up my data, and copy it to the new PC.
gosh
I've never used this app at all, but:Is there a log file in windows? Is there anything in event viewer? When it hangs in task manager is there anything hogging the cpu other than easy transfer? If you deselect some items does it go through? It's probably making an index file that has a list of all the files, then another file that's compressed that has all your files. Does it create this index file?-gosh
