nitroshift
Basically the attached diagram says it all about the network setup. When I try to bring the PC in the domain, "No Domain Controller could be found" error shows up. DC running Fedora core 4, PC running XP Pro SP2, Wireless Router = Linksys WRT54GL, Access Point D-Link DWL-G700AP. I can connect to the internet though I'd be thankful if anyone could shed some light Edited August 7, 2007 by nitroshift
FAT64
The PC needs to know the IP address of the Domain Controller to join the Domain, you can't join a Domain via DHCP. Manually enter the IP address in the DNS settings of your NIC. Once you have joined the Domain then you can use DHCP. (Assuming you haven't done this, of course). nitroshift
Done that, still no go... However, when filling in the DNS servers a new error comes up:DC_Error.txt
eyeball
firstly i would connect back to back with the server with a crossover to eliminate the network as the cause. If that doesnt work then post back
nitroshift
I sorted it out guys. All I had to do is use the router as a switch while bringing the pc to the domain... D`oh!!! I feel really stupid now
