[Solved]No Domain Controller found

Recommended Posts

Basically the attached diagram says it all about the network setup. When I try to bring the PC in the domain, "No Domain Controller could be found" error shows up. DC running Fedora core 4, PC running XP Pro SP2, Wireless Router = Linksys WRT54GL, Access Point D-Link DWL-G700AP. I can connect to the internet though :( I'd be thankful if anyone could shed some light :)

The PC needs to know the IP address of the Domain Controller to join the Domain, you can't join a Domain via DHCP. Manually enter the IP address in the DNS settings of your NIC. Once you have joined the Domain then you can use DHCP. (Assuming you haven't done this, of course).
