Fonts

i have quite a few fonts i hope to use but i know that putting them in the fonts folder will lag my startup especially if its alot, how do i manage this? the main programs i use are office and photoshop dreameaver all that. for adobe, i can put them in program files/common files/adobe ... but can i like have the fonts somewhere where all programs can use?

A coupla dozen

Coupla hundred?

I had a disk once that installed something like 350 extra fonts and didn't notice any issues. (Used it for a loooong time and on a lot of installs too)

I wouldn't sweat it unless you got ALOT and I really mean ALOT of extra fonts.

say hundreds? maybe less that 100

but what are using? a super comp?

my comp 1 of them is a 5yr old pc with intel p4 2.4GHz with only 768 MB of DDR1 RAM! this is bad! but i have another new 1 which is better ... :D
