  1. My desktop: http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=0...06215537fp5.jpg Start menu: http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=0...06215615vf9.jpg I also have toaster with winamp: http://img170.imageshack.us/my.php?image=0...06220242jg8.jpg it floats on top of all windows and clicks go through it. I can then change the track with tray controls, works very well
  2. Hey guys! I figured it out. The place where the instructions are on how to make an Administrative install point have been removed. http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/48/ Follow these instructions and slipstream the latest service pack. http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/50/ Then follow these instructions. After you get your MST file just run the Office Shrink script on it. Next I'd suggest following: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&sho...ndpost&p=469963 Those instructions and also checking "Solid Archive". Also set the compression type to Best. This is for o2003 only - for oXP I'm sure it's mostly the same, admin install point, slipstream, make MST then run office shrink script. Hope this helps.
  3. Uhhhhh..... Am I missing something here? Where are the directions on how to make an admin install point / MST file without using microsoft's office resource kit? Unless that's not how you're doing it.. when I use Microsoft's Office resource kit, I don't get any errors when I run the office shrink exe. And it alwayscomes out to be 293mb, no matter what I select. Please, someone give us the old instructions back!
  4. Symantec Antivirus Corporate DEFIDENTALLY. Super small package, quick scans and auto updating. Plus, it isn't cluttered. Best antivirus program available.
  5. Clean Dirty I prefer the simplest of desktops myself..
  6. Seems as if everyone who uses Microsoft's MST creator ends up at 293mb. Whatever other instructions were up are no longer there. Could someone please put them back?
  7. I recommend CabTool for making your cab files: http://www3.sympatico.ca/lazimute/CABTOOL_SETUP.ZIP And also use scripts for putting it in your SendTo folder: http://www3.sympatico.ca/lazimute/CABTOOLS.ZIP Sorry if this seems like an advertisement. How to repack an installer (reduces size - if you have multiple files with your installation, also use this method) For this you need WinRAR. First, select all of the files needed for your installation and right click, go to add to archive.. Check SFX Archive. Go to the Advanced tab and press SFX options. In the run after execution box, type the name of your setup file and any switches you need for it to be silent. Go to Modes. Check unpack to temporary folder. Also, press Hide All. Now just press okay twice, and you'll have your packed completely silent setup file! Hope this helps.
  8. I am having the same problem as another user.. every single shrinked install I make comes out to exactly 293mb, no matter what I select. Wtf is going on?
