Silent application installations do not require other approaches or something like that when you want to install them through WPI (or through XPlode/RunOnce/RunOnceEx/whatever).

The font of yout start menu is different from the font in your task bar and it SUCKS. Is this a custom setting of you or was it like that by default?

Boxed CPU's come with a standard cooling system that includes a fan and a heatsink with a pre-applied sticky, once-appliable thermal pad.
EDIT:
To make things clear: that means that tray/OEM CPU's come WITHOUT cooling...

I won't be getting my driving license very soon, since I'd have to do the practice test at most 9 months after my theory test. And I haven't even tried to drive yet, so I'll first do the practice at home, then pass my theory test and finally get my driving license. Does this stupid system also exist in the Netherlands?

I also think it wouldn't be of any good to MSFN. Many (thousands) new dummy account is not an insane's fantasy, it'd be the reality. I agree that we need a way to prevent all the spam on this board, but this would certainly not give us the results we'd have hoped for.
And of course: just ANOTHER hack...

I just wish that there was more backwards compatability with apps that use it, as half of tem that I need only can use 1.1, while others (such as Nlite) can ony use 2.0...
That's a decision of the developer
EDIT: and since when do .net 1.1 apps not work with 2.0???

The main reason people don't like it is: again another component to install, while not many applications need it (however that's changing).

The best way is the txtsetup.sif method. It's the way the original drivers are also integrated.
The winnt.sif method is recommended if you're experiencing incompatibilities and want to fix it for one specific device.
The txtsetup.oem method is recommended if you want to integrate only one (or certainly a limited amount) of textmode drivers.

I agree with mediapla: that's the easiest solution. The best option is to:
1. download the latest driver from nVidida.com (currently 81.98)
2. extract it
3. download the 'modified INF' from www.laptopvideo2go.com
4. move that .inf file to the folder where all extracted files are
5. control panel -> system -> hardware -> device manager -> "unknown device - display adapter" -> (right-click) update driver -> advanced (select a folder) -> navigate to the folder where the extracted files are -> install
