well, be prepared to fool around with photoshop and not have a clue what your doing....then, once you figure out all the do-dads and fancy stuff, go try some tutorials, start here then eventually, things just fall into place....

HOOORAY FOR POKEMON NERDS! @gamehead200- nope, Pichu black stripes are more uneven and its tail is considerably smaller. Plus pichu's ears are more square Who's the nerd now, LOL!

i used to be the master of this Pokemon stuff ...then life got in the way thanks for you nice comments everyone! And the pikachu is a bit off, its cuz the real pikachu is fatter i might make one for neopets yet, providing i don't get slapped with a law suit

well, there are some online serves that optimize images, or you could change the file type... .bmp (biggest) .png .jpg .gif (smallest) just keep that in mind when choosing file types

very nice, you used a noise gradient for the background right? if it were me, i would lower the radius on the corners of the avatar to about 4 or 5, it looks a bit too rounded

well, in photoshop...using the crop tool, set it to a 1 to 1 ratio, then crop it so you can see the whole image. Now all you have to do is center it and save it Ps: if you dont have photoshop, upload it at www.imageshack.us and i'll add those extra 50 px for you

hmm, looks to me like you may have accidently pixilated the image. If you saved the image like that, there is no way to retrive it back to orignal state, unless you have the orignal, sorry dude

what file type did you save it as?

@ricktendo64 - rklauncher. Its a really awesome dock, it even lets you minimize stuff to it and yes, i have Xpize installed and that gives you that look, but it can also be done using iconpackager, but its freeware @ZaForD - if you want something done with an XP folder, i'll make it for you but anyway, i made some new ones, they're on the first post and i would like to add the .ico's of these files so you can use them for your desktop (attatched to first post)
