Windows Update, you mean the Autoupdate? That is because you probably selected FullUnattended and haven't chose any Autoupdate policy. Next time on the Unattended page set Autoupdate to the desired policy.

In next version there is new users mechanism so this is fixed, but it is always better to first logon with Administrator user. Those popups were for clear reason of something needed to be cleanup post install but non-admin users aren't allowed to access it.

It can be one of the network locking tweaks on Tweaks page Network section. Did you select any of them?

Did you try to integrate it with Drivers page so you don't need a floppy? If you did and it didn't work please post a link to that driver. If you insist on floppy then be sure to disable OEMPreinstall on main Unattended page.

Your preset says 1.0 RC8, if you haven't try 1.0.1.

For a first trial I would recommend this: Disable Services config page (much better in next version) In Tweaks don't use ANY of the Network Tweaks, they are probably the cause because you don't even read how dangerous they are. For some they may be ok and even more secure but generally they break things. Why did you add so much Network adapters and none of them isn't applied because you haven't entered the MAC adress. Use it with clean installation files, with sp2. For second trial do all from the first + don't integrate RVM pack, even though it's unlikely to be the cause. There, now I go to sleep, until tomorrow...

Uh, it's not simple with OEM software, they add all sorts of modifications in it, is your Windows CD from Dell or it's Retail? Also you didn't attach your preset, attach, don't copy paste.

It should be ok, if you encouter any problems let me know. But when you use two different nlite versions be sure to start from scratch.

vci, I've hidden the NetBT in next one, so it seems it would be good to show it on the services page even though it's not on the default list from full windows. Will dwell on it.

ricktendo64, does BlackViper has those presets copyrighted, I don't know if it's allowed...I could do it easily if it's ok. edit: on second thought no thanks, I don't want to call something safe regarding services. Let people do their own selecting. In next version it will apply only changed states of services.

Nice ones. Just please avoid those like show quick launch which have too many suspicious entries (machine dependant, or affect some other settings too)

Let me just enable my Nostradamus-vision-o-matic In other words please attach (don't copy paste) your preset used to make that iso but be sure that you runned nlite once on it, otherwise provide all Last Sessions from the ISO root.

anoymous_person, what I think (not checked though) is that when some hotfix has a minor update it is still the same 'stable' hotfix and if you want it to be automatically installed without question enable this option, if you want to be prompted like other updates then leave disabled. Now if you put Autoupdate main option to autodownload and install all then these will be included also, it's not a question of hidden hotfixes, only automatization level.

Not removed, tweaked. Try to reset the visual settings through the Control panel - system - advanced - performance settings
