Well seems to be a new version in 2017.. I did not find malware in the installer.
Sow i just zipped the files with this settings:

This will download the latest Stinger version from the website and make a true addon from it. The addon will be placed om C: I could not find the right setting to output the file to the desktop.
I changed the tool a bit sow that it runs under Windows 7 to.

McAfee Stinger detects and removes prevalent Fake Alert malware and threats identified in the "List Viruses" section of the Stinger application. Stinger is updated multiple times a week
Unless you're planning to get infected within one or two days, then "maybe" be able to repair from within, I don't see the point in integrating that in any Windows installation... ? An update is equivalent to the whole download (one .exe file).
This addon makes a nice example of a true addon. Its fun to make to. But you're mostly right.

Notes
Install ImgBurn before you run this addon builder! Its best to unpack the ImgBurn.exe with 7zip program ore universal extractor programma. Put the files in C:\Program Files\ImgBurn (If you install the program the normal way you're probably and up with the crap ask.com toolbar junk)

Hi UtCollector,
Thanks for the info. However, I have tried uninstalling the preveous version and installing this new DVD43 3.9.0.0 a few times but it will only recognize this install as DVD43 3.9.0 and my PC is still asking for this update and it won't work without it. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
