  1. Hi all, I'm trying to get Office 2003 SP2 installed on all of our desktops. We have a script that runs overnight, but I can't seem to get Office to update using it. It works fine if the user is logged in, but fails when logged out. I looked at the log files and it's giving me error 1603 for the reason it fails. I've tried a number of different ways to make it work in the script, but have had no luck so far. I've tried using both ohotfix and msiexec. Below are a few of the lines I've tried to get it to install. All files referenced have been copied into D:\Installs\MS Office 2003 SP2\ on the local machine. "D:\Installs\MS Office 2003 SP2\ohotfix.exe" (see attachment for ohotfix.ini file) msiexec /p "D:\Installs\MS Office 2003 SP2\MAINSP2ff.msp" /norestart msiexec /i "D:\Installs\MS Office 2003 SP2\MAINSP2ff.msp" /qn /norestart As I stated before, all of these methods work fine if the script is run while logged in, but either don't run at all or fail during the update if not logged in (we use a scheduled task to run the script). We are not using an administrative install. The machines are running WinXP Pro SP2. Office is currently at SP1. If you have any questions, please let me know. TIA!!! Matt ohotfix.ini
