The minimum size to make silent installer for nero7 is about 20-24mb. Its contain main Nero Burning ROM/Nero Express and Nero Tools. Installer package I made can be setup in normal mode without any error using StartX.exe But when using swithchless command [/QB or /QN /norestart], it will crash at the end of installation. The crash/error come out when it need to launch file association. If using /QR the installation will pass because at the end it prompt for file association then finalizing the installation. I think i need to remove custom action for file association in msi to make sure my switchless nero7 installer free from any error on clean install.

The Nero.msi has been locked by SetupX.exe as setupx is a launcher for msi. Sometimes AutoIt Script will not work with another machine. I know the trick to pass the error if we install from admininstall point. Now i'm still searching the sequence in msi to automate file association and accept the shortcut in desktop without need for prompt to finalizing installing.

You can use an old Easy CD-DA Extractor 8.2.1 Build 1 .MSI Installer for version 9. Install v9 first and copy all the file in the folder, then open the v8 package. Replace all file in v8 with v9 then package again with switchless command using 7zip or winrar. It so easy. But if you like you can use msi editor to change the name, title, version of installer.

Make mst, then you can install it silently with customization as you need. But this type of installation no need to modified msi. If you want to reduce size of installer, you can modify msi and make any customization as you need for the installer. I have made a switchless installer for acdsee8pro and the size is only 11mb. Original size is 24mb. I remove all plugins, just only main program available. If you like to share, i will upload it to you.

How many times should i need to understand about your instruction? Alcohol 120% can be install with silent mode or integrated to svpack. But it still need an online activation, mean by exporting serial number to registry will not activate the product. My question is: why you need to apply alpatch for 4 files after installing alcohol? The 4 files as you mention is for what? I guess alpatch is a crack for alcohol. Isn't it? If alpatch is crack for alcohol, why not just insert them to the installer? Tell me if i'm wrong.

If you want to use a crack version, why not integrated alpatch to just one installer/switchless. In your instruction, there are need to appply alpatch after installing alcohol.

It is possible to make addon for alcohol 120%? I was created switchless for alcohol installer before using 7zip. Anyone can guide me how to make addon for this application and slipstream to WinXP cd?
