  1. Comodo Dragon, a Chrome-based browser developped by the Comodo team. ALWAYS running it in incognito mode for facebook, as this so-called social network tends to keep track of your cookies even after you log out. For day-to-day browsing though, MSIE 9 is quite okay for me as I don't visit too many sites anyway.

PS. Although I'm on Win 7, I'm pretty sure Comodo runs on XP too.

  2. Installed in in a VM, deleted the VM within 5 minutes. I just don't get this Metro hype Microsoft is trying to push on us. I'm using a PC, not a magnified tablet! And there are many, MANY other things I could complain about, but CoffeeFiend already summed them up pretty well. I am going to be using Windows 7 that actually DOES THE JOB, both at work and at home until the next Windows will come up (IF it will ever come up before Microsoft will leave the scene).

  3. As previously stated, heatsinks on low end cards may sometimes be poorly attached. I would get some thermal grease, remove the heatsink, clean the old thermal paste, apply the new one and make sure the heatsink seats properly on the GPU.

  4. I have a HP7500 e910 printer scanner and fax.

The 64-bit drivers for server 2008 R2 do not exist according to HP.

If I try to use the 64-bit Win 7 drivers I get a message to say its not compatible and I should upgrade (to what?).

I notice that HP-DQEX5.exe is a 32-bit program and issues the message.

What A3 printer can I use?

Try extracting the files manually from the package and do a manual install (via Device Manager).

  5. Hello and welcome to THE forums!

I have deleted the other 5 topics that you created on the same subject. In the future please take some time to read our rules and refrain from starting multiple topics on the same subject.

Now, onto your issue: you can create a batch file and shortcut it to the StartUp folder of your profile.

  6. AFAIK Win98 didn't have such a thing as TrustedInstaller, it was introduced in Vista (am I correct here?), so I'm pretty sure it's a bug in the driver installation procedure code which makes it look for a CD only.

  7. Thanks, Tain! Being passive, glasses are very light, no incovenience at all. But the 3D feel is outstanding. Watching National Geographic in HD and using the TV's built-in 2D to 3D conversion makes me feel sometimes part of the action  But first evening I got the TV I decided to watch Ice Age 3 and right in the beginning where the mammoth slides with the turtle shell full of water and drops it made me knock my head against the bed. 5 minutes of swearing and cursing and leson learned: have all the pillows around my head
