  1. hi you can use this registry key bye Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CabinetState] "Use Search Asst"="no" That's brilliant - thanks
  2. I have a PDA2k and am VERY pleased with it Will happily answer any questions you have...
  3. Someone was telling me London is getting done farily soon too. Timetable here ... Liverpool dosen't even feature on the page yet
  4. There's an option in TweakXP (under explorer) to enable the 2000-style 'Classic Search' - I'd like to be able to do this with a registry key...anyone any idea where it is? Cheers!
  5. Hi, If you delete the custom action that ends somthing like INTF - which is about the third down - it removes the check for setupx launch. I'm afraid I'm not by a pc with admin studio on so I can't give you the full name, but will do as soon as I can.
  6. It's only my private beta key and won't work from the release date onwards. When evilvoice said: he'd actually come across the file that will change the way keys are read - so all you people with keygens might find yourselves very disappointed soon! I'd forgotten my key is in there, and will post a new version soon. (removing the current one once I finish this writing this post) Post 3 and already violating forum rules...dear oh dear....my apologies !
  7. I have attached an MST that will allow Nero to be deployed, that is when you apply the MST there is no longer a requirement to have used setupX.exe. This gives you the flexibility to create your own standard transforms to apply after this one to customise the options you want. EDIT: File has been removed as it contained a key; I will post a new one soon. This doesn’t really change the usefulness of the MST, it just means you're going to have to include your CD Key in the transforms you create to customise the options you want, rather than in this base transform.
  8. I've been lurking around the forums for a while, but I've finally decided to register and introduce myself. My specialties include MSI editing (particularly for deploying via Active Directory) and 100% unattended installs using RIS in networked environments. Looking forward to being able to contribute! Alistair
