personally i would recommend system mechanic to you it is a wonderful amazing program, i use the mobile toolkit edition and you dont get any of the clutter of having it installed just use it when / as required.
  13. are you sure its a 733mhz chip and not a 133mhz chip as far as i am aware the last socket 7 processors were around 550mhz and were the amd k6-2 also the 733mhz speed doesnt tie with the rest of the hardware e.g. 32mb ram it would probobly be 64mb+ if it was a 733mhz.
  14. no problems glad you got it sorted

i think there could be a step by step tutorial i looked at integrating xplode into my cd however i didnt have time/ was in too much of a rush to go through it and work out how to do everything so i just stuck to methods i know and my cd works well, i am very impressed with the xplode however i would agree that the documentation could be better
  16. might sound a really stupid question but do you have the neccessary hard drive space (size of your installed ram) free on your C Drive.
  17. and also you get the benefits of a updated driver base
  18. this might not work but try replacing the xp driver cab with the 2003 driver cab it should still work however i have not tested it, that should save you 50mb straight away

  22. i would agree with you, the smaller utilitys should be 'fat exe's' and larger programs as installers
  23. it's being dropped by ms i would imagine a large number of places will be using it for some time yet, windows 2000 would beat it by a mile because of active directory so bye bye
