1. Hey guyes,

    12. Very often we see meaningless subjects in topic title. They give no clue of what the posts are all about. For example:

    - Oh no!

    - Help

    - I'm mad

    - Please help

    - Question

    - I need your help

    - Hmmmm ....

This should be avoided. Users should enter something more specific in topic title so that it is easier for others to help.

    A few good examples:

    - Strange problem with DirectX9b redist

    - RunOnceEx install problem (double installation)

    - Change Internet Explorer's Icon back to default

    Forum Rules

ok sorry it wont happen again

Remember blaster worm! That worm that almost knocked out everyones PC's for a long time. OMG i had so much trouble removing that thing! I ACTULLY HAD TO CALL IN THE ARMY TO FIX MY COMPUTER (well almost, i knew someone whoes a computer a bigger computer geek that i am in the army ;) and he fixed it up for me)

    and...

My friend downloaded SP2 and got there whole hard disk deleted, it said "Starting Memmory dump" and everything was GONE! $200.00 to fix :o

  5. I can give you a invite for gmail beta.

No i have it 4 gmail i ment the HOTMAIL beta

but while were at it, whats the best webbased mail program

    Gmail

    Hotmail

    Yahoo

    Inbox.com

    Mail Beta(Hotamil)

    Mail Beta(Yahoo)

    Other

I out my vote but if i were to vote it would be gmail

    Depends really.

    Gmail:

+ unlimited space (in the rare case your inbox is full, wait a few days)

    + Great POP3 access

+ Best interface of all (cleanest)

    + Lightning fast

    - Some attachments aren't accepted

    - Can't apply filters on already received e-mail

    - Very rarely doesn't group conversations as they should

My favorite thing about gmail is that your inbox size is ALWAYS growing no other webbased email program doz that ! ;)

  7. Hey, this question is directed at anyone who is allready testing windows vista

It seems that windows vista will take up alot of RAM you could have 512mb which is not really a small amount and it would seem like u only have 128mb because vista eats it all up, but it shouldent be a problem with that new memmory stick feature i saw on the PDC where they just put a simple USB memmory stick into the computer and they had that much more RAM! my question is, does that really work?

  8. Then there's the problem of "selective cleaning". MS-AS is known to ignore certain companies' spyware.

That's just a false rumor. Microsoft does not contract with spyware companies to make profit and not clean their spyware.

Maybe MSAS doesn't pick up certain spyware, but that isn't because of a secret deal or some other conspiracy theory, it's just because it isn't in their spyware database yet.

    EXCALLY :D SEE

  9. I vote Ms Antispy,

Its easy to understand, has checkpoints, gives updates, keeps spyware scan history, cleens tracks, Has a browser hijack restore, u can stop trouble-sum programs from running and starting up, has a quarenteen, HAS A GREAT SCAN PROCESS, gives information on the spyware ON DEMAND, uses plain english "Scan" "Quarenteen" "Tracks erayser" etc.. insted of useing terms like "search and distroy" What doz that meen?, hardley ever crashes, has a neet visual communication while the scan is happening! and is just better than all the other antispy's!!! :thumbup

    I think i made my point! :D

  10.
I use Shareaza and Kazaalite at the moment. Kazaalite music downloads are often corrupt and I havent used Shareaza for long enough to determine whether its good or not.

What is the best P2P software available? Many to choose from (iMesh, Xolox, Limewire etc) but dont want to install them because of adware etc.

    ;)
    [post="137913"][/post]
I use Imesh, i think its good! spyware isnt a problem if u have microsoft antispyware! :thumbup

I wouldent install kaza ever again!!! that was the most horrible 10 minutes of my life!

  11. I like zone alarm free because...

    *its not confusing

    *keeps hackers out "DUH"

    *Has AWESOME program control

*Automatically tells me when i need to update

*it is recognised by McAfee and Servise Pac 2 Secutity Center

*Hardley ever crashes(it crashed one in 4 yrs)

*It doesnt always annoy you with popups to upgrade to the "FULL VERSION"

*And i cant think of anything else right now because i have a cold and i'm takeing NightQuill "The coffing, snifflng, sneezing. Y the hell is the room spinning? medicine."

    It's all about Sygate.

wow a giggabite of ram! must be enough to dim the lights eh?

  12. ;)

    Bill Gates can be really confusing !  I have Windows Vista, but it says you need a minimum of 256 MB of RAM.  So I decided to give up and get more RAM.  I checked the Installer notes it comes with an it says "In this release of "Longhorn" versions of Windows, you will be unable to install mass storage drivers by using the Load driver option on computers with less than 256 MB of memory. To work around this problem, add the additional drivers to the Windows Preinstallation Environment (Windows PE) before running Setup. Refer to the Windows Automated Installation Kit for more details about adding drivers to Windows PE."  It says you can "work around this problem" so I'm guessing you can install it.  I don't understand how to install it now :}

Ya microsoft can be confusing like that some times ;) but not to worry!, from what i make of that u should be purfectly able to install windows vista!, tell me how u like it! and whats ur favorite part?

  13. Y would microsoft make a service pack 3 when its getting really close to vista relece time?

Vista is due for late 2006, there is still a year to go...

You really think Microsoft is going to end the support for Windows XP as soon as Vista is out?

Did Microsoft stopped the support for Windows 2000 in 2002 (the year they released XP) ??? Of course NOT :o

Think twice before posting mindless comments

well u never know, microsoft changes the standard in a heartbeat and if u ask me it makes more business sence to cut off updates so people r forced to buy vista! and i kno u'll say i'm a quack but its just my opponion! and i'm intilttled to that! and it might sound meen what i'm saying bt i'm not trying to be, i make friends mot enemies :thumbup

  14. dont know if this has been posted before but this is what i found

It's a 100+ hotfix pack of many of the Windows XP SP3 fixes up for download. These are fixes that you would have to call Microsoft and get through their support center.

for more info and download of this
