32bit IE not working, 64bit perfect?
cyanide replied to duckdown's topic in Windows XP 64 Bit Edition
strange, 32bit ie works flawlessly here, along with flash... dont know what your problem is man, try reinstalling it... -
none of the resellers have mce...its only available with oem pcs...you can not buy it from anywhere... and theres no 30day trial version of it... if you wanna prove that its not pirated, show a pic of the disc itself...

ok after using the batch scripting method for quite a while, im moving to the runonceex method for unattended app installs... i understood most of the stuff... but i still have one question after first logon is done, and i have rebooted, do i have to manually delete the entries in runonceex in registry ? or is it done automatically... if it has to be don manually, is there any kind of a batch script which will do it ?

windows does not copy winnt.sif file to hdd during/after installation... it just reads the contents from cd so if youre worried about someone opening the winnt.sif file from harddisk, dont be... and if youre worried that someone might open the winnt.sif file from cd and see the password, you cant do anything about that i think...

hi guys... i downloaded nokia pcsuite 6.6 for my nokia 7710... even though setup runs properly on my x64 windows, after running the app, it asks me to connect my phone for the first time... in the list, only cable connection and serial cable is available... bluetooth connection isnt present in the list, even though i have a bluetooth dongle and my phone is recognised by windows allowing me to send files and stuff... im guessing its a problem with x64 itself, since ive used pc suite on windows xp sp2 and win mce.. anyone has got it running ?

installing windows from hdd
cyanide replied to tha_inspecta's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
mostly, when gui portion of setup says "Installing Start Menu Items", it reads almost everything from cd... dunno why but i guess that during txtmode of setup, it does not copy the application cab files, and directly unpacks them during gui mode.. thats why it requires cd during gui mode of setup... -
Nokia PC Suite 6.6 not supporting my series60 fone
