Yes. Also you can select nView title bar buttons for, example, quick switching from one to another display.

If application used standard WinAPI interface you can pre-choose display in standard nview individual application settings

if application used non-standard interface it isn`t possibly and it launch in first display ( in dualview mode).

Yesterday I worked with inaccessible disk - boot from my system disk and WinXP installation CD was not possibly with this disk. I plug this HDD to PCI IDE controller CMD 649 and in startup screen i watch that It is determined as 14Gb ( in real - 120Gb) - boot was not possibly too. I plug it to IEEE1394/USB2.0 external enclosure and do quick format from WindowsXP`s disk properties. After this i successfully restore files on this HDD with GetDataBack for NTFS 2.31

If you did you would need ntfs and you could mount those drives with other things then lettter like special folders.

I work with NTFS only. And it is not first time installed HDD with WinXP as second drive. And nevertheless...

One-two weeks ago I have lost my system after installing another

system disk with WinXP for recovery. This disk was installed on IDE#0, my system disk was installed on IDE#1. I had selected the disk for boot over BIOS startup menu (m/b support selection boot drive over F9).

Then Windows XP was loaded from my disk, my disk was assigned to G:. After uninstalling another disk, I can not boot from my disk in normal and safe modes.

I had no reasons to restore my system on an old disk - I had new Seagate 7200.8 250 Gb and restore WindowsXP on it over HDD`s image on DVDs.

As you know when you buy the computer from dealers they have special software installed in system to creat Recovery CD/DVD in case of system carsh you will use it to recover your system.

Is there any share or free ware or Tutorial that I creat a recovery CD for my Sytem.

[checking disk for readability]

I am searching for a way to test the disk/partition for readability without locking/dismounting the drive and without fixing it.

I am particulary interested in standard support/resource tools that can do this.

chkdsk can only 'read' the whole disk/partition if you dismount the disk, and this is what i don't want.

Any solutions?

Did you post this problem now that you have IE 6 back?

Have you had any problems getting IE6 back?  Is your HISTORY OK? 

Guy was asking somewhere else that his History was not working too good, going back to ie6.  IE7b1 has a problem with History and must have rolled back to 6.

Let`s copy the *.dll(s) of codec to %System Root%/system32 (for 2000/XP) or %System Root%/system (for 9x/Me).

hmm. APC Power Shute Personal Edition has problem with IE7 b1 - àll keys in Power Shute`s windows not work.

(tested v.1.3.1 and 1.5, after rollback on IE6 SP2 all`s fine)

P.S. also all`s fine after rollback on IE6 with added posts on Live Journal
