  1. This should work in the current release. Do you know what's improved about it in 7-Zip 4.60? WIM support was for LZX compression method only.. but with v4.60 the other remianing methods are supported (none,Xpress)
  2. support .dmg with DMGExtractor. - 738 * updating 7-zip from v4.57 to 4.60 you'll get XAR,UDF,DMG,LZMA,(WIM unpack improved) unpacking. add OLE extraction support? (need download link for olex_d)- comment 195 * in 7-zip since v4.52 support .wim files - 447 *already in 7-zip 4.49 and greatly improved in 4.60 7-zip update is has support of chm with lz-18 and above and XPS so its update is vey essential
  3. How does this related to the innounp project at http://innounp.sourceforge.net/? I'm a bit hesitant to use unofficial forks of projects. it was unoffical release before v0.20 where out and official release of v0.20 has all features of 0.23 and more.. I use 7-zip to support gzip files. It seems to have really solid support for that format. Is there any particular reason to include a standalone gzip binary? 7-zip version included in v1.6rc is 4.57 while latest version is 4.60 (it had improved the WIM,XPS,CAB support and others) I'd love to, but I haven't been able to find any freely redistributable utilities that support SITX archives. Do you know of any? Do you have a link to "console_unstuff"? the "console_unstuff.exe" is not a standalone program it requires (4 more DLL's foundation.dll - pthreadVCE.dll - StuffItEngine.dll - EngineShell.dll) even it won't extract a simple sitx file.. (i tested my self)
  4. i my self don't like "stuffit" package but you have to support it.. if not v2009 then v12 which does not use .net this only for "sitx" format but for "sit" you can use sit-sfx-stub and bind it to "sit" file then run it silently it would be the minimum unpacker i can think of..
  5. regarding expander v2009 (13.0.0.8) is freeware (refer to its help file attached) and it expand the support to formats supported by stuffit deluxe (including "sitx,sit,sea,zip,7z,rar,cab,lzh,...plus others) no like v12 which supports "sitx" and "zip" only http://my.smithmicro.com/downloads/files/S...xpander2009.exe (its 7.5mb) http://my.smithmicro.com/downloads/files/S...der12.0.1.3.exe (beware is around 5MB) and i prefer to provide a direct link to it for download if UX user need a "sitx" support as it will bloat the UX package even if its freeware or not upx is updated like many others.. so plugins have improved version like the wcx_MhtUnPack-0.4.1.rar at http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/MhtUnPack.html it has "eml" support and many encodings.. finally is a must to release v1.6 final Expander.zip
  6. this mthml file could not be extracted.. can you take a look at it.. http://hpac.texterity.com/hpac/200609/temp...Download+for+PC ive also tried to use kekaware total command line with the HTM plugin with no use.. it does not work.. thanks in advance.. please add support for DMG support (DMG2ISO) is possible but i did not find program that support DMG from OSX
  7. Good suggestions, freeko. I started looking into this, and here are my initial thoughts: EML - These files do not behave the same way as regular MHT files. The most noticeable difference is that they contain two separate boundaries, one nested within the other, which really wreaks havoc with my script. I started playing around with this and implementing some preliminary ideas, but right now it looks like this will take too much work to support properly without enough payoff. If this proves to be a popular request I may add it to a future version, but I'm going to hold off for now. One other issue is that there are apparently different standards for .eml files. The .eml files saved by Thudnerbird, for example, are standard mbox files, drastically different than these (which, I presume, were created with Outlook Express). IMF - I've never heard of this before, but if it's nothing more than a renamed cab file, then support is simple. It'll be included in 1.3. db & dbx - I don't really know what to do with this. What are .db and .dbx files? From the description on the sites you linked to I'm guessing they're Outlook Express files, but I really don't know for sure. If they are, what exactly would you want to do with them? IE, how does this fit in with Universal Extractor's stated purpose of being able to extract files from archives and installers? EML= i second that.. for initial support you can add the Base64 extraction of the embedded files.. IMF= thanks.. to resolve any future error .. UX should support files via header not extension. In my example. it has "MSCF" signature..which means CAB.. DB= db & dbx is a database of the EML files so you extract EML from these database then extract the content of the extracted EML files.. and it depends on EML support new founding i have regarding the data stored in xml-document (office 2003, office2007) .. all data is stored in base64 code i had document and i save it in both mht and xml and combared the content i found that the image blocks are exactly 100% same.. Others MSCAB other links http://synce.sourceforge.net/synce/unshield.php http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/cabextract.php http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/libmspack/ http://www.speakeasy.org/~russotto/chm/
  8. Thanks alot for v1.30 regarding add JPEG extraction support? - comment 195 try JPG Extractor 0.01 http://dwing.51.net/download/xJPG.zip just 1.5kb in size

  10. you can extra formats using the same way.. 1-EML email format used in outlook examples http://stationeryheaven.net/welcome.htm choose what cataogry you want to see.. then you'll image with three extention.. just choose Eml.. and check it the "exe" file is the files in unpacked form links http://www.kayskreations.net/help/eml.html 2- IMF IncrediMail File the "imf" file from the previous link is just a MScab file that Uniextract v1.2.1 does not support but 7-zip does rename the IMF to CAB it unpacks correctly 3-db & dbx outlook / express DataBase http://oedbx.aroh.de/index.html DbxConv @ http://www.nonags.com/nonags/emt.html http://people.freenet.de/ukrebs/download/dbxconv.zip it can dbx --> db --> eml http://people.freenet.de/ukrebs/
  11. Thanks, freeko. Just to clarify earlier comments, these files can also carry a .z extension in addition .1 and .lib, correct? thats right ... a link with some intristing info for IS v1.0 (.$) .. very old setup .. in 90s http://www.likasoft.com/newsold.shtml
  12. http://rapidshare.de/files/32146995/geotools_1p24s.rar files with .1 and .lib in this software are of same type IS3.0
  13. actualy the detection is rather difficult in rare cases.. and this tool is here for a long time with no updates thus is misses the new varient of IS packages
  14. can anyone provide samples for these files? http://kannegieser.net/~veit/programm/stix.arj My understanding is that i6comp completely supercedes i5comp, and will read from both data1 and data2. Is this not correct? Can you show me an example that works with i5comp but not i6comp? I can't find i7comp. You sure it exists? Where can I download it? Ditto for isunpack. I'll also need a sample to test, so I can distinguish between this an other versions. http://www.reatogo.de/sample/TEST-is7unpack.zip http://www.reatogo.de/sample/IsXunpack_0.99.rar others http://www.reatogo.de/sample/Unpack-WISE.exe http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...amp;#entry99005 Thanks. Thanks, both of those are now supported. As long as other hotfixes of either identify themselves the same way, they should all be supported. If you find anything that still doesn't work after the next version is released, please report it.
