Hi! first of all sorry for my long absence, 2nd i'm still a bit short in time, so i cant reply to all posts right now. Had some bigger impacts to real life to handle, some bad (e.g. car accident ) some good (e.g. I'm married now ) So there hasnt been any time for development since the Debug Version. But things are slowly getting back to normal and i'm expecting to be able to pick up development again within this month. I'll be back (couldnt resist )

Not that i normally would do this, but like you said you were disappointed with the lack of help or response to this post. I think your app is a useful tool to have and use it regularly. But I did take the time to format my drive, seeing it really needed it and sat down as suggested by you so that i can get the strings (atleast to the point of getting the ones listed in my response.) Sent you an email stating as such since you seemed desparate to get syssetup integrated properly into your modifier. The least you can do is thank a member for helping you out. Not that it is important just if a site is set on the idea of being a community then why not reply with at least a "Thanks M8". EDIT. I only responded because you did re-enter the site after a period and responded to your one post. If you have watched the progess on my tool you'll find that no help of any kind stays unthanked or uncredited. So yours wont be either. I am currently trying to get a bit more time free again so i can continue on this , but first things first, and this here just doesnt pay my bills. Nevertheless my appologies that i gave you the feeling of beeing ignored, i really appreciate the time and work you put into this. And what you posted was exacly what i ment and was looking for, so thank you very much for it. though i really cant tell at the moment when i will find enough time to continue my work, i am still eager to add the support for syssetup, sadly i still lack the time to do it at the moment, but i will pick up where i left asap. Hi m8! at the moment not really much, i barely have any freetime, and my main concerns are the bugs at the moment, but with such little feedback i cant make any progress on this at all. Hope to have more time again next month...

btw, i havent mentioned this yet, but since the debug version is based on my in work build, you can edit the time remaining strings from the syssetup.dll if it is found, but nothing more yet. But hey, its a start, isnt it ? Note: DONT remove the %d from the first string, its replaced by the actual minutes when the used in setup

Hi All! to be hounest this is a bit disappointing, almost a month now, and so little feedback on this. I'm still on the subject, but it will take signifently longer, when i dont get any help at all on this

I can confirm this, the filename does not matter in anyway, except when i accidently used a case sensitive compare for the '.dl_' check, which has been fixed. The error darkstonexa described sounds like a missing resource id problem, but i cant check aslong as i dont have the .dll to work with

Hi! please make sure you are using the latest Version. If this doenst help, i currently startet a Debug Run, you can download a special Debug Build to give me some extended Error Information, you can find the Debug Release here.

Hi! ok, i downloaded the files and checked they work just fine, so i suspect this could indeed be a problem caused by the os that WinntbbuEd is run on. To narrow down on this problem i will require you to run the Debug Version i put online. Please check this post here and i am sure we'll get this fixed aswell

@All Experiencing Unknown Problems & Errors: Here is a special Debug Version: WinntbbuED_Debug.exe To find and iron out the Bugs i cant reproduce, i will need your help, so please get the Debug Version and post what happens when you run it on those files that dont work, and if you can share those files here aswell that would be perfect. The Debug Version provides extended error information for me, so either post the message or simply post a screenshot of it here. tia. @those getting error 70: you will find a WinntbbuED.log on your Systemdrives root, i need you to post this log here, and as mentioned several times before on this topic please get Unlocker and check which programs have a lock open on the file in the moment the error occours. Hope we'll get further now.

Hi All! so i have some good news and some bad news, the bad ones first, i havent completed syssetup.dll support yet, and research might still take some time the good one, did some more changes to the editor, which imho are worth a new release. so here we go: V0.3.1 Mainly Bug Fixes f - filename check for .dl_ is no longer case sensitive f - case of filename is no longer changed after expanding f - minor error in the internal preview, the internal preview has an extension of 640x480 but the top left logo was the medium size which is used with 800x600. Now the appropiate Picture is used f - makecab is now executed passing the path of the original file to be compressed, before there was no path used. Which let the compressed file end up somewhere on the system instead of the directory of the uncompressed one f - some minor grammar errors f - bug with the color editing, where canceling didnt restore the previous colors c - Default selected Logo in the Edit Pictures Dialog is now small, reflecting the change in the internal preview c - Link Destionation for the first and Description for the second link in the about Dialog. They are more accurate now c - the order of the items on the extra menu. This should improve handling a bit c - the way the edit pictures dialog fetches its images, this was neccessary to display the step pictures correctly. this was no longer correct since the Transparency color was added c - minor layout corrections to the Edit Pictures Dialog c - Moved Cabbing Menus to an own submenu on Extras c - most of the loading messages to reflect the actual filename c - Release mechanism and release point, hopefully eliminating the error 70 a - Auto Expand for syssetup.dl_ aswell now, if no syssetup.dll but a syssetup.dl_ is found in the same directory as the winntbbu.dll you will be able to let WinntbbuED expand it automaticly if possible a - two new options to settings to dis/enable syssetup expandation a - sub menu to Extras to apply makecab on syssetup.dll if present a - right click context menu to the pictures in the edit picture dialog, you can save pictures from there now a - clear option to the context menu for the pictures. you can now remove the logos and the step images completely n - clearing works in different ways, for the logo's they get completely deleted from the resources, the step pictures are replace with original size images in the transparency color, so if you change that color you will have to reclear those images. This is necessary because of the way winntbbu.dll handeles its resources. This is the most compilant way possible. Clearing of the Animation Images is NOT supported, winntbbu.dll doesnt handle that, if you want to remove those, i suggest you replace them with 1x1 pictures matching your background image color. Hi! Actually it does work with other languages, at least i tested it with english and german, but never with chinese, if you can share the winntbbu.dll that gives you that error, i will look into it and try to figure out whats different and why it gives you that error.

Dont worry i dont! I'm am the master of typing errors, and my written english isnt the best either. Besides that i am trying to create an app to make modders life easier, so any input is welcome, maybe i wont be able, maybe i just dont want to realize everything thats suggested, but i at least will consider any suggestion.
