  1. LOL, try taking out the CD after the first reboot, then putting it back in after it starts booting from the hard drive.
  2. How about using a Java/VBScript on the page linking to that page, a script that finds the username and appends it to the link?
  3. Can't be. The released that for free... I don't think they can C&D it.
  4. Guess now would be a good time to start coding an underground p2p sharing system...
  5. Haha, there is a solution! You have to let the driver installer extract the drivers to the hard drive. Then, copy the drivers elsewhere on the disk. After that, use the Update Drivers in Windows, and manually choose the drivers in that folder. The drivers, nVidia Control Panel and everything work perfectly. You still have the use the MCE registry hack, though.
  6. In some versions of Windows it might be WINNTBB?.dll, I'm not sure what the ? is. I think it's an A though...
  7. No, because OE doesn't do it. Did you check to see if there was a message filter or rule set in Outlook that does this?
  8. You could try backing up and reformatting (or recovering, if the computer came with a recovery disc.)
  9. Have you tried hooking up a different device, to see if your DVD player's output is giving MCE fits?
  10. Could be trying to access an Admin-only registry key for the EULA acceptance... try making the Limited User an Administrator, opening Office, accepting the EULA, and making the user a Limited User again.
  11. BIOS. No, you probably can't change that.
  12. Well, because DOS doesn't natively support CD-ROM drives, it seems like MSCDEX.exe and a driver would be your only option
  13. 80 Gigs, and I use the whole thing. Videos are very large things, especially when you have all the raw footage you have to edit.
  14. Sounds like a motherboard problem to me. Take it in to be tested.
  15. Mounting it means using a program like Daemon Tools to make your ISO show up in My Computer as an extra CD/DVD-ROM drive.
  16. You do need to edit the WINNT.SIF file, or the MCE components won't install, and you'll have plain XP Pro.
