Hello again I would properly agree with you if I was downloading from the same location as you, but I am not. I download from: http://www.e-academy.com/ In my basket I see: Software Title Qty Item Windows Vista (Longhorn) Professional Edition Beta 1 1 Download I download a piece of software, that downloads the actual content of the DVD from my university. It then unpacks it into a folder I decide. The content of the folder is then: Boot Docs Drivers Sources Support autorun.inf boot.ini readme.htm readme.txt setup.txt So am I missing something, or should I complain about it not beeing an ISO, and try to get another version? Hello The copy is downloaded from Microsoft, so what do you mean "the real version" is ISO... I have friends who downloaded it also, but they didn't get it as an iso either. They installed XP first, and then upgraded to Vista. I would just prefer to get a clean install... But can anybody post or send me the bootimage from their DVD or so? I would really grateful!!! Hello all I got Vista through eAcademy, but the download is not an ISO or DVD or whatever. My problem is therefore to create a DVD, that can boot the Vista installation. So what I'm missing is the bootimage thing, that can go into the ISO. I tried the cdimage command from: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=10251 Version: Official Windows Vista Beta 1. Hello I'm having a problem with the display settings. First time it boots, after "finishing installation", in the normal windows installation - also just before the patches start running - windows asks me to change the screen resolution. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks! Regards Danisher

Hello AaronXP I didn't get that... What do you mean they are already bootable. I just copied the files into the WinISO, and that didn't bring any boot information with it. I even tried burning an image with Nero, to try and find out, what the problem was... Can you explain? Thanks!

Hello everyone I fixed this myself!!! I used the old ISO file I had, which already worked, opened it in WinISO, and added the files I needed. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem. However, I would like to know, if anyone has any solution to the problem described first? Regards Danisher

I've downloaded the ISO stuff, from the site: http://www.MSFN.org/unattended/xp/finish.htm I used WinISO, to copy the files into an ISO file, and then added the boot information from the XP_PRO.ISO file.
