  1. I've found some old UberSkin files and uploaded them to the dropbox link below. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8dmz7gr8l1zty4f/AAD741jDEg9UG4Okq_pDMVCya?dl=0 This link won't remain live for long, so if anyone wants to archive these get them now! HTH ElectricString
  2. You can disable this in the registry using 'Codestuff Starter' like this: http://postimg.org/image/w87iqdbgz/ Codestuff 'Starter' (Portable) v5.6.2.9 is available at Softpedia. The install version, if you want it, is also available from there [search]. I think this is still the best startup manager for Win 9x . HTH
  3. I think the file you need is memload20.zip A quick google brings up this page: http://www.findthatzip-file.com/search-45372700-fZIP/winrar-winzip-download-memload20-zip.htm HTH
  4. PortableApps.com announces end of 95/98/Me support See here for details
  5. Dencorso, you might want to apply your fixes to USBSTOR.INF v1.09 2007-11-20 (The latest one I could find) from Maximus Decim Cumulative Update for 98SE v3.05 (MDCU305e). Link below. USBSTOR.INF_v1.09_2007_11_20.zip HTH
  6. SFOR Get this 'Maximus Decim Cumulative Update ver.3.00 for Windows 98SE' for Msimg32.dll v5.00.2218.1 HTH
  7. Thank you very much. I will try to reproduce it. I also should check that if there are other CDVSD.VXD versions such as 2225, 2224 etc. I have CDVSD.VXD 4.10.2224 from KB265314. Get it here :Download site Hope this helps
  8. azagahl You only need KB887606 for MSXML 4.0 SP2 & MSXML 2.6 as KB832414 is now obsolete.
  9. MDGx , Erpdude8 & Shamgar KB832414 has been updated & is superseded by KB887606 with updated fixes for MSXML 4.0 SP2 & MSXML 2.6 KB832414 - XMLHTTP call fails for URLs with embedded user credentials KB887606 - FIX: The Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) uses cached credentials incorrectly There is no longer any mention of MSXML 2.5 in either article, although the Download details link from the original version of KB832414 still works. NOTE : 98SE/ME are not listed under 'supported operating systems' but the MSXML 2.5 patch appears to install OK [msxml.dll 8.0.7002.0]. Hope this info helps
