Avira Setup Creator Is a tiny software (32bits) coding with AutoIT(3.3.8.1). Goal of "ASC" is to create a customized build of Avira Free Antivirus 2013 including latest viral files definitions. Asc is very easy to use and of course freeware (sourcecode is available in subdir "\Src\*.au3") Latest Build: 1.2.3.1 (for Avira Free Antivirus 2013 *only*) Download: Dropbox - Depositfiles Previous Build: 1.2.3.0 (for Avira Free Antivirus 2012 *only*) Download: Dropbox - Depositfiles Changelog: see '_changelog.txt' for old entries (in Asc Zipfiles) 1.2.3.1: Removed support for Antivir 2012 and Old Antivir version; Add support to Antivir 2013 + Updated code in Asc.au3 & Ask_Removal.au3 + Updated all url in Settings.ini (pointing to Antivir 2013 instead of 2012 setup) + Updated FAQ (ASC\Doc\_Readme.html) Notice: if you want to use Avira Antivir 2012 > use previous version of ASC build: 1.2.3.0 Translation: Willing to help ? I'm looking for Asc translation in these language: Japanese, Chinese, Korean. (See Asc Menu "?" > "Faq" for details) Availlable Antivir language to Build: French,English,German,Dutch,Italian,Espagnol,Russian,Japanese,Portuguese (Pt-Br), Chinese (Zh-Cn & zhtw), Korean, Turc (taken from Avira download website) - Asc available GUI Lang: French,English,German,Dutch,Italian,Spanish,Russian,Portuguese (Pt-Br), Turk, Finnish Choose a langage for Asc GUI and Antivir langage to build: and press "Start", that's it ! (See /Doc/_Readme.html or use in Asc, Menu "?" > "Faq" to get more information) Example: you can use Asc Gui in German and Build an Antivir setup in English (or any other Asc Gui language to build any Antivir official setup language) - Asc Light (checkbox on Gui) See the Faq (Menu "?" > "Faq" > "Asc Light") for a better explanation on this optionnal functionality. Note: If you don't know what is "Visual C++ 2010 Runtime" don't use "Asc light" option! Don't forget that vcredist_x86.exe NEED to be installed PRIOR executing Antivir Setup (including Windows 64 bits OS). (see post 93 & post100 for additional info with W7 setupcomplete) - Switch available for Avira.exe: (7zSFX) Silent installation with progress bar: -y (no switch, for a classic installation) ROE: I use "Avira.exe -y" with Runonceex method with my unattended XPCD, Antivir CANNOT be installed via svcpack at T-12). Example: REG ADD %KEY%\010 /VE /D "Avira Free Antivirus" /f REG ADD %KEY%\010 /V 1 /D "%cdrom%\Soft\Avira\Avira.exe -y" /f Important: ASC does NOT suppress Antivir Personal "Nag". Buy Antivir Premium Edition if you don't want the nag. Advice: Read the Faq (in Asc\Doc\_Readme.html) for more information. Try with "-y" switch you'll see a progress bar without any prompt (silent installation) Avira.exe -y I always use this "-y" switch for my installation. ps: Avira.exe is packed with "7zSfx" compression -

I admit that's a good idea I've add in the English Gui of Asc all other language available from Avira official build: DE,ES,IT,RU,JP and FR,EN of course. Follow my previous post 63 you can download this new Asc build (v1.1) So if you have a Italian Windows it should work, Asc should produce an Italian Avira build. Feel free to try it and tell me if it works please Cyberyeye -
On KB971276-v3 download page there's a listbox for choosing the language as usual. But the name of this file still remain as: WindowsXP-KB971276-v3-x86-ENU.exe Another buggy hotfix from MS maybe ?

Indeed you're right there's a little bug with directory containing a with space character Solution: Extract the zipfile in a dir or subdir without space, and everything should be ok. (my fault of course i didn't think to that when i wrote the sourcecode) Example: Good: c:\Asc Good: c:\MyStuff\Asc Bad: c:\My Stuff Asc Bad: c:\Documents and Settings\Yourname\My documents\Asc Hope this time it will really help you Edit: ASC v1.1 should fix this ! -

Here's a tiny software (script autoIT wrote by myself) ASC - Avira Setup Creator v1.1 It works for EN,DE,ES,IT,RU,JP version of Avira Antivir Personal v9 After using Asc, a new setup is create including latest virus definition and setup files. Name of the new setup: Avira.exe They are two version of Asc: - Asc_Full.exe : safe package (include all files from original avira setup) - Asc_Light.exe : light package (excluding old/unufull files and vcredist_x86.exe) Removed files using Asc_Light.exe : - vcredist_x86.exe, antivir0.vdf, antivir1.vdf, antivir2.vdf, antivir3.vdf Don't forget that vcredist_x86.exe NEED to be installed on windows prior to install Avira ! Language: OS codelang is automatically detected from your OS and then the Asc Gui is shown in French or English depending of your OS codelang. > French Asc Gui: generate only a french build of Avira !!! > English Asc Gui: depending of your OS codelang ASC can produce: EN,DE,ES,IT,RU,JP Avira.exe setup - MS Codelang used by ASC: - Spanish: 040a 080a 0c0a 100a 140a 180a 1c0a 200a 240a 280a 2c0a 300a 340a 380a 3c0a 400a 440a 480a 4c0a 500a - English: 0409 0809 0c09 1009 1409 1809 1c09 2009 2409 2809 2c09 3009 3409 - French: 040c 080c 0c0c 100c 140c 180c - German: 0407 0807 0c07 1007 1407 - Italian: 0410 0810 - Japanese: 0411 - Russian: 0419 Any other codelang will produced an English Avira.exe build. Switch available: Silent installation with progress bar: -y Silent installation without progress bar: -gm2 (no switch for normal installation) Note: I use "Avira.exe -y" with Runonceex method, i have NOT test it at T-12 (svcpack). Download link: New topic here Hope this helps ^^ PS: ASC does NOT suppress the nag. Buy Antivir Premium Edition if you don't want the nag - -

Avira Antivir 8 Free - complete silent and unattended!
cyberyeye replied to cool400's topic in Application Installs
Up ^^ In my previous test I create the installer package (using your script) with XPSP3 installed on D: drive (using D:\Temp\Antivir8_AOM.exe for creating the installer) and using options: C:\Program files C:\Windows This don't work, I don't know why... Maybe installer creating on "D drive"... become broken if preconfigured with C Drive and build with D partition ? So I used the script in C:\Temp INTO a virtual machine (xpsp3) with Virtualbox. C:\Temp\Antivir8_AOM.exe and choosing "C:\Program files & C:\Windows", as usual... then I've test ROE installation by putting this into registry: (after this close and relaod your session or reboot for testing the ROE installation) And... its working ^^ So I mean if using your script to install Avira PE on "C Drive", installer should be create on "C Drive" too, don't ask me why, I don't know, but it works lol Hope this help ^^ PS: I've not tested any addon installer... I'm not using it. -
Same here ! Inno Setup + IsTool is great combo ! Very usefull (and powerfull) easy to use and free

cyberyeye replied to cool400's topic in Application Installs
Hello cool400 ! I've reused your script for building a new exe without changing anything of course using "C drive and C:\Program files") then tested an installation into Vbox (virtualbox) with the usual stuff (roe.cmd...) (all others elements of roe is installed perfectly! this is not a problem with my roe script) It still don't works erf ! Avira is not installed at all, and installer lauch/shutdown immediatly ! Of course after ROE logon, in explorer I've installed it successfully by double clicking on the file lol Very strange ! Maybe something with Temp destination... is not working ? Anyway great script but sadly unusefull in a xp unattend install using ROE... I hope you'll find a solution to this -

cyberyeye replied to cool400's topic in Application Installs
Indeed ! Very good script :-) But.... (Yes there's a little but) Executable don't works at all.... with an unattended xp installation during runonceex nothing is installed (runonceex = first gui logon after OOBE). This is really strange ! Maybe this is due to Temp directory or something like this (i said this but i've not verified only pure suggestion not verified lol) The same executable works fine in xp for "usual" installation by doing a double click (that's why i think after OOBE / Runonceex.cmd: Temp dir or something like this screw the installation) Any idea ? ps: sorry for my bad english -
OK ^__^ and thanks for your fast reply
-
You're right :-) ... i've tried: it works fine ! nero 6.6.1.15c and langpack 6.6.1.15a (FR) So if I understand, the only difference between 6.6.1.15 "a,b,c" is the toolbar include into/with the setup ? So a,b,c is the same build but with different toolbar ? No others difference like nero file being update between a,b,c build ? (just to be sure)
-
Does anyone know where to download official langpack for Nero 6.6.1.15c ??? I'm looking for the French langpack for Nero 6.6.1.15c I've only found 6.6.1.15a langpack.... Nero 7 or 8 (even "Lite") are too buggy

Ati Traytools installation in runonceex
cyberyeye replied to geezery's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
I don't use or install Catalyst Control Center (I mean "CCC"). I just use/install Ati Drivers without CCC, and use Ati Tray Tool for the settings, that's it With ATT (ati tray tool) you can setup everything, eg, tvout, Direct 3D or OpenGl.... No need to use or installing Ati Catalyst Control Center with ATT ! Try it -
