  1. The guy next to me gets his internet free via my router, which I am gracious to provide. Web browsing doesn't get in my way; he uses very little bandwidth there. However, he constantly uses bittorrent and other P2P apps which suck all my upload speed up. How do I set my router to block bittorrent?
  2. I made a batch that installs Kerio perfectly, all versions, and included it in my RunOnceEx. Sadly though, the install seems to skip right through it on the installation and no firewall installs. Here's my batch; do you see anything wrong with it? To clarify, I mean that the batch works only when I run in manually. It runs during RunOnceEx, but has no effect. RunOnceEx: REG ADD %KEY%\028 /VE /D "Installing Kerio Personal Firewall" /f REG ADD %KEY%\028 /V 1 /D "install\kerio\kerio.cmd" /f kerio.cmd: @echo off ECHO. ECHO Installing ISScript10 ECHO Please wait... start /wait ISScript10.Msi /qn ECHO. ECHO Installing Kerio Personal Firewall 4.1.1 ECHO Please wait... start /wait kpf.msi /qn REBOOT=Suppress ECHO. ECHO Copying License file ECHO Please wait... MD "%programfiles%\Kerio\Personal Firewall 4\License" Copy license.key "%programfiles%\Kerio\Personal Firewall 4\License" exit
  3. Will the quotes trip me up in my RunOnceEx, or can I install it that way just as it says?
  4. How do I keep RunOnceEx from sliding off of the screen when I have too many items? Can it go into a second column? Everything gets installed, sure, but I'd like to be able to see it as it happens. If this has been covered in another topic, I'm sorry. Just couldn't find it on the search.
  5. Thank you! I knew there was something crazy. When I put "%allusersstartmenu%" it keeps copying to the desktop. Now CD is complete. May you prosper in all that your hand finds to do, MCT.
  6. COPY %programfiles%\MyIE2\MyIE.lnk %allusersstartmenu% This file exists in the directory, but I keep getting "The system cannot find the file specified." Is there something wrong with my dos command? The environment variables are correct as far as I can tell.
  7. I do that too, but it doesn't install anything. It just pretends it does and moves on. Might I reiterate the profound manliness of Strat79. May his computer prowess and well-endowed masculinity stand the test of time.
  8. I don't care if it's invisible or not; this KLR thing was making me crazy and now it's been fixed. Strat79 is an absolute stallion in my mind, and a champion among men. May his manhood grow like the mighty oaks.
  9. My MSN Messenger shows everything in English except the web-based drop down menus in "Play a Game", which are in Korean. Sure, I'm in Korea and all, but it doesn't mean that's the language I speak. How can I fix this? I'm yearning for some Bejeweled here...
  10. I have a Lite On (I've used Lite-ons for about four years now) 8x, it handles all formats (+/- and DVD-RW), and I got it for $103 at Newegg.com. And I love it!
  11. Might I chime in with the same sentiment? NForce IDE drivers are horrible. The rest of it is fine, but the IDE drivers have caused problems since the beginning, and it's no different for the latest ones (3.13).
  12. I'm getting this problem, and it happens even if I run a program before it, behind it, exclude the zero, etc. Is this not meant to run in a windows environment?
  13. Does anyone know a proper switch for KLR that doesn't bring up the user config wizard?
