Use NTOSKRNL Emu_Extender and compile it for Vista (from Windows 7 VM or another computer running W7.) And modify the target .sys file import section by renaming ntoskrnl.exe to ntoskrn8.sys using CFF Explorer. Don't forget to always disable the driver signature enforcement from the F8 boot menu every startup.
