  1. ebay UK have done it again...

This week they seem to have broken the "Submit bid" button for me on Serpent/UXP for XP.

When I click on an item's "Submit bid" (logged in), I get a messagebox saying

"Oops! Looks like we're having trouble connecting to our server.

Refresh your browser window to try again."

Can this be made to work again in Serpent?

Or do I need to do something to make it work?

    I'm using "Win32 https://o.rthost.win/basilisk/basilisk52-g4.8.win32-git-20230902-3219d2d-uxp-e27e1cd712-xpmod.7z"

As always, thanks for the work you do roytam1. It's appreciated.

@roytam1 please have a look at this! :)

That's what I got with Serpent UXP 20220625 on XP when trying to download a pdf.

Also, if I try File - Save Page As...  nothing happens - no dialogue appears.

I've gone back to 20220528 and saves are working again.

  3. Hi,

First of all a big thank you to roytam1 for all the hard work. Much appreciated.

I'm still on Windows XP and using Serpent UXP 52.

I've come across a website that makes Serpent UXP crash. It's www.britishgas.co.uk

I also tried a fresh install of Serpent UXP 55 and when I went to that page, my whole computer crashed with a BSOD - not seen in a long time.

    The versions I used are

    basilisk52-g4.8.win32-git-20211113-f94c0da-uxp-eedc02ee9-xpmod.7z

    and

    basilisk55-win32-git-20211106-fc7f3915a-xpmod.7z

So are there any settings I can change to get the website to work, or does Serpent UXP need looking at?
