  1. Can this driver be installed for Windows 7 or later from NTLite or Dism?
  2. The errors are that some things do not work, some pages are blocked. After trying the version based on chromium 120, I did not find any problems. Version 125 (4.6.4) is the only one that can be run since other editions do not even open. When downloading files from the web it crashes, you must manually select where the downloads folder is so you can download files.
  3. using extended kernel? What version of the extended kernel? can you try to try Microsoft Edge v109+?
  4. Using Osver.ini to pretend that the system is Windows 7 we can install the .NET Framework Desktop Runtime. (obviously you need to have the Windows Server 2008 SHA-2 support update installed)
  5. The current version of Cent Browser (2024) based on Chromium 118 works too. CatsXP Browser current version (based on chromium 125) also works, some bugs, but it works. https://www.centbrowser.com https://www.catsxp.com Note: the vast majority of programs compatible with Windows 7 work well with Windows Vista + Extended Kernel. Browsers based on Chromium 109 can still work on Windows Vista. Tested: -Brave Browser (v1.47) -Google Chrome v109 -Chromium v109 -Thorium Latest Version (v122) -Firefox v116 (newer versions v125-126 do not work citing lack of a "mitigation" function in kernel32.dll) Microsoft Edge Enterprise v109, you must try several times to open it, it seems that it is due to some deficiency or some bug that causes it to close when you start, after trying several times the program opens forcefully but works normally.
  6. I completed almost all the steps but I get a "verification file setup" error when trying to run setup.exe

  8. Thanks bro, I will try this soon and I will comment on the results here, thanks for your help
  9. Does this work even without updating? The thing is that I have the system without updating (it doesn't even have the 2017 ones)..
  10. Thanks friend, but my question is... looking at the link and the folders, I wonder in what order to install the updates? from 2019 to 2022? Sorry for my lack of experience, if you can explain a little about this I would appreciate it.
  11. Is this compatible with Windows Vista SP2 Business ES-ES? or should I check for updates corresponding to my language (es-es)?
  12. Is this compatible with Windows Vista SP2 Business ES-ES? or should I check for updates corresponding to my language (es-es)?
  13. I guess I must have the 2022 updates to be able to use the extended kernel. The problem is, where can I get these compatible updates so I can install the kernel? I am using Windows Vista SP2 Business x64
  14. How can I install this version of the kernel? There is no instruction that specifies how to install it.
  15. The current version of the extended kernel does not seem to work well, I tried Windows Vista Business SP2 x64 + Updates 2024 (WS2008) and I get errors in some programs trying to search for a folder that does not exist. I will try to try the same edition of Windows Vista but with 2017 updates (EOL)
  16. Will an Intel Pentium D 820 Processor be compatible with Windows Vista Business SP2 x64?
  17. Hi, I have a question, can the extended kernel for Vista support languages other than English? since I would like to place it in Windows Vista Business x64 SP2 Spanish

    1. Cockatiel

      Cockatiel

Extended Kernel works just fine on Vista Ultimate x64 SP2 Ukrainian, so it should work on your Vista Business x64 SP2 Spanish (except for language bar, but that can be fixed by installing Keyman Desktop and downloading files for your keyboard layout)

    2. D.Draker

      D.Draker

      Yes, works on French, too.
